It seriously is. I’m actually surprised that there aren’t more walking-while-texting-crossing-the-road-getting-hit-by-a-car incidents… One wouldn’t think that texting while walking along would endanger you in any way, think twice!
A new study revealed what some of us already divined; 1 in 10 people actually hurt themselves whilst walking with their focus entirely on their cell phones.

How can such injuries be avoided? Well best way, drop the bad texting habit and pay attention! Not very likely to happen so apparently London has started to pad lamp posts.
A pilot scheme has been launched in Brick Lane after it was found to have the highest number of ‘walking and texting’ injuries in the country.
If it was up to me… let ‘em all hit the lamp posts hard on.
