Last year I got myself a brand new sewing machine. I haven’t used it yet cause I never seemed to have much time to devote to my hobby and, well, I’m having a hard time finding good quality fabric to work with.
I love some of the fabrics at DesignDivaFabrics.com. They have some lovely styles and I’m particularly into their vintage stuff as well the some of the brands, such as Ralph Lauren and Versace Home. They have a wide range of different fabrics, from silk to discount velvet upholstery fabric.
Anyways, they also have a blog and recently they started this Vote Up Count Down. This is actually a really fantastic idea! Anyone can create an account and vote for their favourite fabric. The fabric which receives the most votes, will be featured on the Count Down mode, meaning it will get cheaper by the second. The fabric with the next most votes will then replace it and so on, so forth…
If you sign up with them you will get notified via email when your fabric gets into Count Down mode.
