What sounds like a cheesy nerdy horror flick hailing from Down Under, is actually not a joke. I actually think that there’s way too many useless services and to be honest, this one is slightly over the top.
Ok, I do get the whole purpose behind this but it still sounds like a joke.
Basically, visitors to the new graveyard in New South Wales - Australia, will need the help of a GPS device to locate their dead friends or family members.
The graveyard itself is apparently the country’s first eco-burial site and bodies are being buried in biodegradable coffins between gum trees.
“It’s an ideal way of utilising land and helping wildlife and vegetation. A family can walk around the bushland and pick a site. The body can be oriented in any direction. We promise there will be no internments within five metres. We’ll record accurate GPS co-ordinates.”
You don’t need to buy any GPS system, you can loan one. I guess it makes sense. Still, there’s something wrong with wandering around graveyards with GPS locators.
