Even though I’ve lived in the UK for over 3 years now, I haven’t actually heard about this supposed common spitting-at-bus-drivers in London. Sounds rather disgusting.Â
Anyway, apparently it actually is incredibly common and such a big issue that bus drivers will be handed DNA kits so that if a passenger spits on them, they can be traced by the police. The kits will be issued to London’s 7,000 buses. Let’s hope it works.Â
