DepositDox.com offers you a free phone number and account where you can receive faxes. You can store up to a 1000 pages and there is a 250 page limit for the first month. After that, you are limited to a document a day.
This wouldn’t really be a problem for anyone who doesn’t reeive faxes very often.
FaxZero.com lets you send text, Word, DOC or PDFs for free from their website. The downside: your cover letter will include an advert and you are limited to sending a maximum of 3 pages and 2 free faxes per day.
