Now, new leggings that apparently can melt away up to an inch, have hit the UK market. Makers of the Scala Bio-Fir leggings and tights claim they could slim hips and thighs by as much as an inch.
In tests, eight in ten women who wore them lost that amount of fat, although they had to wear them for six hours a day for 30 days in a row. The £15 black leggings - in vogue as the 1980s trend makes a comeback –went on sale at John Lewis on Thursday. The store, which developed the clothing with Scala, is selling them online from today and expects to break previous sales records.
