Many things have become available on the Internet and you may not even have to physically attend a funeral any longer.
For a £40 fee, hi-definition webcams would relay the service to a website protected by a password, allowing friends and relatives to watch live, or at a later date. The idea, which is being considered by bosses at Worcester Crematorium, has been welcomed by church figures

The internet is one of 237 nominees for the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize. From the BBC: “The nomination for the internet is supported by 2003 Nobel Peace Prize winner Shirin Ebadi and the founder of the $100 laptop project Nicholas Negroponte. It is unclear who would accept the prize if the internet were to win.”

Twittering is not my kind of thing. I generally spend very little time on social networks and the only one I check every now and again is Facebook.
Facebook is currently testing a simplified version of its social network service aimed at countries where internet bandwidth is limited. But it may prove popular with other users tired of the currently over-fussy website.
The new system, named Facebook Lite, focuses on messaging and user updates and now looks far more similar to rival micro-blogging service Twitter.
It is available to a handful of users in the UK by going to lite.facebook.com. However, at present a preview of the service is only widely available in India and the US.

On odd occasions, sending a fax could actually prove to be quite the problem. There are countless of monthly plans that you can use for a small fee but if you’re like me and only need to send a fax every other year, these options might be really good:
DepositDox.com offers you a free phone number and account where you can receive faxes. You can store up to a 1000 pages and there is a 250 page limit for the first month. After that, you are limited to a document a day.
This wouldn’t really be a problem for anyone who doesn’t reeive faxes very often.
FaxZero.com lets you send text, Word, DOC or PDFs for free from their website. The downside: your cover letter will include an advert and you are limited to sending a maximum of 3 pages and 2 free faxes per day.
