IT and business training is one major job category nowadays and jobs are hugely sought after.
With everyone talking about IT training, I’m beginning to wonder how long this craze will last. Sure, I don’t think there’s any doubt that the job industry is heading in that direction, but with everyone trying to get qualifications and jump on board, how are salaries affected?
Global Knowledge, a worldwide leader in IT and business training, conducted an interesting survey on the IT profession and the job market.
According to the IT Salary Survey, Executive Management is at the top of the money making list, whilst Computer Support Specialists are way down at the bottom.
It also shows how important qualifications and training are to get ahead in IT. The survey gives you a very good and clear insight as to how much you could potentially earn, what top certifications actually mean something and what skills you should develop to break into the industry. Check it out, it’s an interesting read and tons of useful information also published in the “10 Tech Certifications that Actually Mean Something” post on TechRepublic.
