Trees are amazing. We all know that they can reach a high age and now it looks like the world’s oldest tree has been found.
9,5550 years after taking root (in Sweden), it still stands. Amazing. Researchers carbon-dated genetic material to suggest it hails from 7,542BC. I have often wondered about the oldest tree alive, looks like this is it and it’s probably going to outlive most of us.
I’m pretty sure though that would be others the same age or perhaps even older.
Simply amazing.

It’s spring again. Time really flies huh? I’m going to be starting my spring cleaning probably this weekend. This year I’d rather try to go green… meaning using essential oils and DIY cleaners instead of harsh chemicals.
I’m trying my best not to procrastinate and let other stuff distract me. Anyway, I’ll be posting more on cleaning / spring cleaning over the weekend. I’ve actually found some great DIY tips and recipes!

I love trying new social networks and interacting with people on the net. It’s quite amazing to share ideas, discuss interesting topics and pass on your opinions. Honestly, I love it. With the incredible popularity of social networks such as MySpace and Facebook, people tend to forget that what they write out in the open cyberspace doesn’t always work in their favour. I don’t have any skeletons in my closet, but yet, I am very cautious about offering up personal information to strangers.

I love gardening. What I love even more than gardening is relaxing in my garden. It’s spring yet again and time to look for some cool garden furniture.
I adore the new Hartman Garden Furniture sets. They are simply gorgeous, yet chic like this large dining set. I can so imagine having a fabulous garden party, barbeque or dinner with these pieces of outdoor furniture. Brings a lot of style into one’s garden.

Life can be hectic, work can be stressful, routines are boring. I’m rather embarrassed to admit that I’ve never watched a baseball game life.
Well yeah, you can watch it on your box but it’s not the same as actually being there, snacking on junk food and cheering for your fav’s.
A baseball game can be a natural stress reliefer. I guess that’s why the sport is still so incredibly popular.
It’s fun, it’s entertaining and it’s enjoyable. There you have it. Good enough reason to watch the Chicago Cubs play.
Now if you want to take it up a notch, you could be watching from the Wrigley Field rooftops. The facilities apparently hold the best view and are located across the street from Wrigley Field.
This would be perfect for a big party or a smaller group of friends and a complete food and beverage service is included throughout the game. You cant rent the facilities from 30 prior to 30 mins post game, which would be enough time to have a blast. Most dates require a minimum of 10 people to book, but I doubt that this would be a problem for anyone intending to rent the Wrigley Field rooftops. This certainly is way up on my list of things to do… rather sooner than later!
